SUPPORT FOR FIRM'S EXPANSION PLANS IN BRIGG

A well-known company in Brigg which is looking to expand after outgrowing its premises has gained the backing of the Town Council.
At their latest meeting in the Angel Suite, members of the Planning & Environment Committee - chaired by Coun Mike Storey, pictured above - agreed to support the proposal made by Quainton and Kaines, based on the Ancholme Business Park, off Atherton Way.
The company is seeking planning permission for phased development.
This involves erecting  a two-storey office building and portal frame buildings for manufacturing and indoor storage, and the erection of a covered shelter area (including demolition of existing office and warehouse block).
Brigg Town Council is also supporting an application to prune a tulip tree at 29 Wrawby Road which is subject to a Tree Preservation Order, and AF Carpets' application to demolish a single-storey office building off Ancholme Way on the former Trent Foods site.
