FORWARD PLANNING IN CASE BRIGG SUFFERS FLOODING
Brigg has experienced several weeks of generally dry weather of late but the Town Council is taking steps to deal with any future prolonged and particularly heavy periods of rain that result in flooding from the River Ancholme - Old and New sections.
Coun Ann Eardley told the latest meeting: "It definitely needs looking at."
Coun Rob Waltham and Coun Carl Sherwood will be involved in the future talks - the latter being the town's appointed flood warden.
