FORMER CAFE IN BRIGG TOWN CENTRE TO BE TRANSFORMED

When Brigg Town Council members sit down a year from now to decide the winner of the coveted Civic Award for the best building enhancement undertaken during 2017, we think this might be a strong contender.
For work has now started to transform the  former cafe at 4 Market Place, with residential accommodation above.
We understand it has been acquired by a person already running a  business in Brigg, though not involved in fast food.
For during July 2015, North Lincolnshire Council granted planning permission for change of use of the existing vacant cafe to a hot food takeaway, including provision of new shop frontage and external flue.
That application came from a businessman in Kent who had plans to sell chicken-based dishes.
