MILLENNIUM GREEN, BRIGG, IN AUTUMN

Here’s an unusual view of the Millennium Green, on Elwes Street, Brigg.
Brigg Blog took it from the side of Candley Beck, where it joins the Old River Ancholme.
Brigg Town Council is taking over management of the Green – a role formerly undertaken by a Trust.
Work behind the scenes continues, involving North Lincolnshire Council,  but until everything is tied up to the complete satisfaction of the legal experts,  nothing much can be done to improve things. However, it should not be long before the council takes charge of the Green.

New litter bins are likely, together with repairs to wooden decking.
