BRIGG WELCOMES SOME OF ITS BUSINESSES BACK FROM LOCKDOWN

A number of businesses in Brigg have reopened since the government relaxed some of the Coronavirus emergency lockdown measures a few days ago. Social distancing is being observed.
Among those operating again are the Hand Car Wash near the Monument, the Newton Fallowell estate agency on Wrawby Street, the Smithy's Pond fishery on Island Carr and Brigg Garden Centre off Bigby High Road.
On Friday, the Snack Shack mobile catering business off Bigby Street was offering fish, chips and peas as part of its takeaway range.
CHOCS AWAY: Sweet Memories on Wrawby Street (pictured below) is closed but the shop is taking orders and home deleveries can be arranged.
Elsham Golf Club has reopened to members.
With local cricket still curtailed we could not go down to Brigg Rec on Saturday afternoon (yesterday) but were able to check the latest score in the pedestrian area contest which was: Cycles Being Ridden 6, Parked Cars 4. And that covered a period of half an hour at most.
The road signs are clear but keep being ignored.
