Brigg Blog was asked to record this happy birthday celebration get-together in a local pub on Saturday evening (October 12).
The ladies were having a good time in the snug at the Yarborough Hunt, on Bridge Street, when our assistance was requested.
We also took a few more for them on a mobile phone belonging to one of the group. Later, they asked a member of the bar staff to take further images.
Down at the Black Bull, when we dropped by, it was so full that, with time pressing and queues at the bar, we had to cancel the planned visit. It's always good to see a packed bar in Brigg - unless you're in a hurry! - so apologies to mine hosts for our impatience on this occasion.
The Bull offers live entertainment periodically and will have singer Scott Phoenix performing on Saturday, October 26, from 9pm
We'll try again at the Wrawby Street venue that evening and hope we can spot a space at the bar, which has just gained a five star rating. View details here...

Last Saturday night was mild in terms of weather, resulting in many people in light attire taking to the ever-popular beer garden at the side of the Dying Gladiator, off Bigby Street. However, it won't be long before the temperatures drop and folk have to venture out in coats and anoraks and spend more time inside local pubs rather than venturing outside for long periods.
Visitors to the Yarborough Hunt will be warmed by the log fires which add to the ambience and remind us that this hostelry was a traditional ale house until its closure in the late 1960s. Since the Hunt reopened as a pub, extensions have been added into adjoining premises.
And now a look ahead to Sunday (October 20)...
At Brigg Town Football Club's licensed clubhouse, Pips Kitchen is now open, serving food to hungry home and away fans, plus visiting members of the public just wanting a snack or breakfast. This Sunday lunchtime, local people will be welcome to pop in and support the teams following the annual Karl 'Kipper' Taylor memorial football tournament at the nearby Recreation Ground. Note that FREE food will be served at the Dying Gladiator during TV coverage of the big Liverpool and Manchester United top-flight game which starts late in the afternoon.
