CRACKING CHRISTMAS FAIR FOR BRIGG FOLK TO ENJOY


A cracking Christmas Fair with free admission has been arranged for people in the Brigg area to visit and enjoy. It's among forthcoming events just notified to us by the local Women's Institute (WI).

Drug and Alcohol Awareness Evening at Brigg Methodist Church on Thursday October 24th at 7pm. Talk by a speaker trained in this subject. Plus question time and light refreshments. Please join us. All welcome.
Cracking Christmas Fayre at Scawby Village Hall on Saturday, November 16th. Lots of stalls, gifts, crafts. Bottlebola, cards, cakes, fabrics stall and more. Excellent large raffle. Entry is FREE. Tasty refreshments available, lots of delicious home-made sweets. Open at 10am. Join in at the beginning of the festive season.
Mince Pie Day on Thursday, December 5th at WI House, Queen Street, Brigg, 10am until 12 noon. Raffle and lots of friendly chatter. All Welcome. Contact for enquiries, Gill, 01652 653641, or pop into WI House Tues, Wed or Thurs - 10.30am until 3pm.  Any funds made on this event will go to Grimsby Women's Aid Centre. To support the Centre we ask if people can donate small items such as toiletries, and small items for children from babies up to 16 years of age. Bring them along on the day.
