Helpful staff from the new JustGo dial-a-ride bus service were present at the main bus stop in Brigg on Monday - the morning when the new service, funded by North Lincolnshire Council, launched locally.
Two vehicles from the East Yorkshire service provider were also on Cary Lane (see picture above).
Leaflets were being made available to interested members of the public wishing to find out more.
"JustGo North Lincs is a fast and low-cost way to travel across North Lincolnshire at a time to suit you," the literature explains.
"Book through the mobile app and track the bus to your meeting point of choice."
The service operates Mondays to Fridays, 7am to 7pm, and from 8am to 6pm on Saturdays.
Prices are based on distance and start from £2.50p for adult rides, with discounts for the under-16s.
Free wi-fi and USB charging is available on all mini-buses operating across North Lincolnshire.
Download the JustGo North Lincs app from Googe Play or the App Store (Apple) to make bookings. Alternatively, call the hotline on 01482 592959. Bookings can be made up to four weeks in advance.
But please note that it is not possible, at present, to pay cash to drivers to cover fares.
Find out more about the new service by visiting www.justgonorthlincs.co.uk or use @justgobus on Twitter and Facebook.
A few minutes prior to taking this picture on Monday, we observed a bus from Lincolnshire-based CallConnect which had served North Lincolnshire customers, as well as those in the adjoining council area, up to last weekend.
The vehicle was heading off into the distance down Wrawby Road when we saw it, which seemed fitting.
It was not a case of riding off into the sunset, though. Lincolnshire Call-Connect will continue to run into Brigg from nearby towns and villages in West Lindsey, and presumably run passengers back to Caistor and other destinations.
