BRIGG BUS SERVICE WITHDRAWN AS COUNCIL TENDER ENDS

The Stagecoach bus company, which serves Brigg, announced online last weekend: "Service 450 will be withdrawn after operation on Saturday 29 August 2020 when the North Lincolnshire Council tender comes to an end."

For some time the 450 linked Brigg with Barton and Immingham via various villages.

North Lincolnshire Council, in conjunction with the operating company, will be launching a new CallConnect bus service called JustGo across its area from early next week.

The authority points out that this will be available to passengers who used the 450 service.
Brigg Blog will be posting a full preview of the new dial-a-ride service over the weekend, including a picture of one of the vehicles in Brigg prior to the launch.
Our picture above, taken a few weeks ago, shows the 450 service arriving in Brigg and approaching the Monument roundabout.
