PRESENTATIONS AT BRIGG TESCO STORE TO MARK PROMPT ACTIONS DURING MEDICAL EMERGENCY

FROM JIM COPSON, ANCHOLME ROWING CLUB, BRIGG

The Rowing Club had a presentation at Tesco  to recognise the prompt and positive actions of Teresa Evans of Ancholme Rowing Club and Kathryn Brown, Tesco employee, during  last Sunday's medical emergency.

Teresa administered CPR whilst Kathryn (daughter of local  carpet supplier Colin) assisted with CPR and the defibrillator.
It is a little known fact that all Tesco stores have these life-saving machines.
Kathryn has been recently trained in its operation.
A man from Leeds Rowing Club is still recovering in Lincoln County Hospital where the prognosis is good.
In the photos, Teresa is on the left.

N.F. ADDS: Our thanks go to Jim for the update. The rower from Yorkshire was taken by to hospital by ambucopter.
