Brigg Town Football Club will be in cup action tonight, Wednesday, October 11.
The Zebras journey to Bottesford Town for a local derby in the first round of the Lincolnshire Senior Trophy (7.45pm kick-off).
In tomorrow's other tie, Winterton Rangers will host Barton Town at West Street.
It will be interesting to see how many Brigg followers make the short trip to Bottesford, who are fifth from bottom in the premier division.
The Zebras currently prop up division one.
Bottesford's ground, Birkdale Park (formerly Birch Park), is on Ontario Road, DN17 2TQ (for the benefit of sat-nav users).
It opened in the late 1980s and we remember going there with Brigg Amateurs for one of the very first games at this venue. We think that may have been an August or September midweek friendly.
While Bottesford Town FC is a fairly young club, Brigg Town can trace its roots back to 1864 - making it one of the oldest in the world.
