BRIGG TREE OF LIGHT 2017 - KEY DATES ANNOUNCED

Illuminating the Brigg Tree of Light 2017, on Chapel Court, will take place on Monday,  November 20, from 5.30pm.
There will be a short informal service.
People will also have an opportunity to buy memory cards to place on the Tree of Light - minimum cost £5.
A further date for your diary will be Saturday, January 6, 2018 when the lights will be turned off at 3pm .
Again, there will be an informal service and the names of loved ones on the memory cards will be read out.
The winners of the Christmas raffle will be announced on this evening.
Our thanks go to Coun Jane Kitching,  Vice-Chair of the Brigg Town Business Partnership, for this update.
We just hope that the weather is kinder on November 20 than it was for the switch-on during 2016, when heavy, driving rain lashed down on those who attended. This resulted from Storm Angus paying Brigg a visit.
