The money has helped the team purchase a new kit for the 2015-16 season.
Branch Manager Tracey Bendon explained: “At The Nottingham we have a long history of supporting our local community, so it’s great that we are able to sponsor Great Coates United. We wish the boys every success this season and can’t wait to watch them in action.”
Club Chairman Daniel Ward told Tracey: “Great Coates Utd FC would like to thank Nottingham Building Society for entering into a partnership with ourselves, which allows us to provide much needed supplies, equipment and additional training for our players and coaches especially when funds are difficult to obtain in today’s financial climate. The generosity and support we receive from businesses in the community like yours helps us to build a talented and successful youth football team. We're currently looking for new players of any ability. Must be currently in year 9 at school. Training Wednesday evenings. Matches Sunday afternoon. For more info contact Dan on 07581363123.”
