It was refreshing to see the Luddington-based Axholme Brewing
Company selling its wares from a stall at Brigg District Lions' Christmas
Fair.
The independent brewer seemed to be doing a roaring trade (pardon the pun!) at the Lions' event.
Believing that we should research our posts on Brigg Blog, we
bought a couple of bottles to try.
The stall in the Market Place - close to the junction with Cary Lane - was also selling Christmas presentation packs,
all including an inscribed Axholme Brewing beer glass.
