MODERN JIVE DANCE CLASSES PROVING FUN IN BRIGG

The Angel Suite in Brigg continues to have a healthy diary of regular weekly and monthly events, as well as other bookings, manager Karen Deeley (pictured) told members of Brigg Town Council, which manages the venue.
In her December report she mentioned continued bookings from CMJ Auctioneers, who offer a valuation service for items of various kinds that people are free to take along.
There are also twice weekly bookings by the Duck Egg drama group - on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.
The Brigg Breast Cancer Support Group and the Brigg and District Flower Club meet monthly - on Tuesday evenings.
Modern jive dancing classes and social evenings are going well on Thursdays from 7.30pm. Just turn up on the night and pay your £6.
"It's a good opportunity to have some fun," Karen said.
Having received the report on the Angel Suite, Coun James Truepenny, chairing the meeting of the  Brigg Town Council Property and Services Committee, said it was good to see such a diversity of clients.
Coun Rob Waltham congratulated the Angel Suite manager, describing Karen as "a real asset."
Further information about booking the Angel Suite can be obtained by emailing  the Angel Suite Manager or call in at the Town Council office near the Angel courtyard.
