Three businesses have entered the Festive Interior and 16 the Best Dressed Window competition organised by the Brigg Town Business Partnership.
Short-listing has started and the final decision will be made on Saturday, 21st December by Andrew Percy MP and Brigg Town Mayor Coun John Kitwood.

........This year. there is a second category - 'The best festive interior'.
This recognises that some businesses, such as pubs, cannot really decorate their windows.
I understand that the judging criteria includes -
1. Originality.
2. How the display reflects the business concerned, and
3. Overall impact.
For example, Jones the Barbers have decorated a Christmas tree in red and white helical strips of tinsel ......they should score high marks in Criteria 2, for their display reflects the traditional barber's red & white pole within a festive theme.
