Brigg Town Business Partnership will again be running its best Christmas windows and festive interiors competition. It will take place from Friday, November 29 to Friday, December 20. Winners will be announced at Brigg Farmers' Market on Saturday, December 21 at 2pm. For further information please email briggisbest@gmail.com or ring 07442160785. The £3 entry fee includes a donation to LIVES and the Brigg Food Bank.

Nigel Fisher played almost 800 games for Brigg Town Cricket Club in a variety of leagues for 30 years up to 2004, also making appearances for Brocklesby Park. Since then he has umpired as a member of the Scunthorpe panel. He is results secretary of the Lincolnshire County Cricket League, chairman of the Broughton Evening League and supplies cricket content for the Scunthorpe Telegraph, the Grimsby Telegraph and the Lincolnshire Echo. To make it clear, Nige, there are 2 competitions -
1. Christmas Window, and
2. Festive Interior (new comp)
It was recognised that some businesses, such as pubs, do not really have windows suitable for displays, hence the new Best Festive Interior comp.
Entrants may only enter one comp.
