Brigg Millennium Green on Elwes Street - just a few yards from the Old River Ancholme - was a project that came to fruition for the year 2000. It's a place people can visit if they are seeking a bit of peace and quiet, or wish to soak up a few rays in the summer. There's not much going on during the colder months when the grass isn't growing. But, looking to the future, the Green may appear on the agenda of a Brigg Town Council meeting in a few months' time.
