REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY 2013 IN BRIGG - FIRST PICTURES
Brigg civic leaders, groups, organisations, charities and members of the public today turned out in force to commemorate Remembrance Sunday. The parade formed up in Station Road and marched to St John's Church, where the traditional service was held. The parade then re-formed in Wrawby Street and marched along Queen Street and Bigby Street to the Monument war memorial for the laying of wreaths in memory of The Fallen. Brigg and Goole MP Andrew Percy was in attendance throughout. Brigg Town Council was very well represented, being led by Town Mayor Coun John Kitwood.
THIS SELECTION OF PICTURES SHOWS THE PARADE SETTING OFF FROM STATION ROAD. THERE WILL BE SIX FURTHER BATCHES OF PICTURES TO FOLLOW.
