MAY THE WEATHER BE KIND TO BRIGG FARMERS' MARKET

Brigg Farmers' Market in  May 2011. This Saturday we are hoping for ice cream weather!

Let's hope the weather is kind on Saturday (May 25) for the monthly Brigg Farmers' Market in the town centre. As usual it will be operating from 9am to 3pm.
North Lincolnshire Council refers to a Love Your Local Market event. It advises: "Visit this FARMA accredited award-winning market and buy delicious local food from the people who produce it.
"Now with over 30 stalls selling everything from venison to smoked salmon and home-made cakes to sauces."
Brigg has never been so well off for parking spaces, Lidl having moved  to its new site and left behind the extensive car park next to the old store. In the past, given the huge popularity of the farmers' market, it was sometimes difficult to get parked up in a prime spot near Spring's Parade. But not any more...
So now's a great time to pop into Brigg to visit the farmers' market and adjoining stalls on the general market  in the Market Place and down Wrawby Street. Why not call in at some of the Brigg town centre shops? And also sample the wide range of refreshments.
