Here are a few pix taken at last year's Brigg Beer Festival. We think it was last year's, but you know what it's like - the old memory plays tricks when you've done your best to support the event! |
If you haven't been to a Brigg Beer Festival before we will offer a word or two of advice. Pay at the door on your way in and buy some tokens that can be exchanged for drinks from what must be the longest bar in Lincs, staffed by volunteer bar staff from the Lions. Chairs and tables are available if you want to sit and chat, but most seem to prefer to stand. Once you've exhausted your tokens, just nip back to the entry desk and buy a few more. They generally have souvenir glasses you can buy.
You are more than welcome to print off the list below and take it with you. But they will give you a list on the night and you can even grade the beers, if you wish. So take a pen or pencil along.
WARNING: This task may prove more difficult if you linger till closing time!
