BRIGG MEMORIAL GARDEN ALMOST READY

Here's a reminder that the Brigg Spring Clean is taking place next week.  It will be on Thursday, 23rd May,  6pm to 8pm, around the town, with dedication of the Memorial Garden, near Lidl at 7.30 pm.  Several youth   groups will be taking part in this session.
Saturday, 25th May, 10 am to 12 pm:  The Environment Agency will be cleaning the river and the Rotary Club will be working on the riverside. In addition, Harbour Clean will be working on the river to remove litter, etc. on Thursday and Friday of next week.
Brigg Blog adds: Today (Friday) we've just been past the site of the Memorial Garden, close to the Old River Ancholme, and noted a North Lincolnshire Council van and a team of workers busy on the site. It's now grassed over and looking good. However, we will wait until the job is finished before posting any pix.
