Saudi, it is alleged, monitors and censors web, e-mails and moby phones.
I recently met a guy who works in Saudis who says that he tries to maintain contact with home, via the thisisscunthorpe web-site, but received a official banning massage.
He believes that the reason was that the site contains a rude word.

Tell your friend who works in Saudi to get a VPN (virtual Personal Network) that way they can hook up to a server in Europe, USA, Canada, Britain and then enjoy the same freedom as they do in the west. The Kingdom certainly does monitor all web activity and the thisisscunthorpe site probably suffers the same fate as Marseilletoday ......... rude words indeed!!!
