"Crowvus are with us this week," the proprietors explain. "They are visiting a number of schools and will be at The Rabbit Hole for a national launch of their new book aimed at younger readers.
"We have read it to our Reading Group to great reviews.
"They have chosen this area because their mum Susan Crow (nee Templeton) was brought up on The Isle of Axholme and has written about her life there in the Fifties.
"There are also other books based locally on folklore/ghost stories. Susan will probably not be travelling from Wick but her memories have led to the launch here.
"All the work they are doing they are doing for free to schools, which is amazing in these times.
"The actual launch will be at 4pm at The Rabbit Hole on Thursday."
