REALLY BIG TURN-OUT FOR THE DIRTY PITCHERS 'BRITPOP GIG' IN BRIGG

Local band The Dirty Pitchers drew a huge crowd of music fans to their Brigg 'Britpop' gig on Saturday (February 3), including Dave and Emily (above).
The event was held at the Britannia Inn, on Wrawby Street, from 9pm.
The next morning, the lads took to Facebook to thanks their followers, saying: "Cracking night last night. Never seen the Britannia so busy! Cheers to everyone for making it one of those gigs we will never forget. You have set the bar high for 2018."
Around 8.30pm on Saturday, we walked past the Brit and the place was pretty full.
On our way along Wrawby Street and through the Market Place we met groups of people making their way to the Brit for the Pitchers' performance.
Later, having visited the Yarborough Hunt and the Dying Gladiator, we called in at the Britannia and found the place was really buzzing.
Mine host Shane Garrett and his bar staff were kept very busy indeed.

Apologies for the picture quality - mobile phone had to substitute for the usual camera, which we'd left behind in our rush to get out and about.
