So we welcome plans announced to erect an extension to the existing village hall off Station Road, Hibaldstow.
Hibaldstow Parish Council is applying to provide enlarged changing rooms, kitchen and extra function rooms.
The village recreation ground is used by many people and its playing area for cricket is second to nine in terms of quality, hosting many Lincolnshire county junior matches as well as Lincolnshire League fixtures played by Hibaldstow CC.
Now it seems additional off-the-field facilities are on their way, subject to the necessary approval being granted by North Lincolnshire Council planners.
The application is now under consideration.
