ON TRACK WITH WORK AT BRIGG RAILWAY BRIDGE

Following the recent Brigg Blog post about famous Victorian engineer Sir John Fowler overseeing the building of two railway bridges in our town during the 1840s, we've been sent this picture by a rail campaigner.
It  comes from a source at Network Rail and shows the track been replaced on a bridge in Brigg.
Sir John Fowler is most famous for his work on the Forth Rail Bridge in Scotland - a landmark structure and world heritage site.
