A sporting contact kindly alerted Brigg Blog to forthcoming Beer Olympics being held in the town.
Various games will take place on Saturday, February 24 at Brigg Town Football Club (The Hawthorns) and those taking part are asked to arrive at 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
Teams will comprise six men and two women.
Fancy dress will be part and parcel of the proceedings and this ticket-only event we think will involve many local hockey players.
