Carr Island Holiday Lodge Resort - describing itself a tranquil spot near Brigg - is now welcoming inquiries from people across the UK.
A clubhouse with restaurant will be opening later this year.
Carr Island Holiday Lodge Resort is on the Brigg Marina site beside the Old River Ancholme, and is reached by road from Mill Lane, Brigg, although actually located within Scawby parish.
The resort is stressing its nearness to the Lincolnshire Wolds and the River Ancholme.
"At Carr Island Holiday Lodge Resort there are river cruisers situated on the marina, from two persons to six persons, available to rent – so take a leisurely trip up the River Ancholme and explore the stunning countryside," it says.
The Ancholme Valley Walk north from Brigg is also recommended to visitors, together with the town's shops, markets, pubs and special events, including Brigg Horse Fair.
City folk across the north and midlands are being told that Brigg is easily reached, examples given being one hour from Leeds and Sheffield and one hour 40 minutes from Manchester.
