Mark Burns taking over the Britannia Inn in Brigg town centre this week reminded us that it's now five years since very long-serving landlord Phil Clipson retired from the Wrawby Street venue.
There was a memorable farewell party at the hostelry when Phil and wife Dawn, pictured above, met customers for the final time from the business side of the bar.
Indeed, so many people wanted to wish them well that the event had to be staged in two parts - Saturday and Sunday - during summer 2015.
