UNDERNEATH THE ARCHES: BRIGG PROJECT BENEFITS FROM MEAL WITH MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT

A very successful fundraising dinner, with musical entertainment, was held for the Brigg Arches Project, raising £666.17p.
The project is aiming to install distinctive metal archways above some of the courtyards within the town centre to guide shoppers, tourists and visitors, though erection work has yet to start.
The event was held in the town centre's Cafe Courtyard, within the Angel building.
Coun Jane Kitching, on behalf of the organisers, has expressed thanks to Robert Jackson and volunteers at Brigg Heritage Centre; Beryl and Paul Keane, Emma and Sarah of the Café Courtyard; Cy Pettit, for helping behind the bar; Coun Rob Waltham, town councillor and leader of North Lincolnshire Council, for his support; Graham West, who did the artwork and design; the Nukeleles Ukulele Band (pictured), which provided wonderful music; and everybody who helped and/or made donations.
Coun Jane told Brigg Blog that it proved to be an enjoyable evening.
