Brigg will benefit from an influx of holiday-makers and tourists through a leisure development which will create new jobs and boost the local economy.
The first phase of 13 holiday homes at Brigg Marina is now nearing completion and construction of a further 14  has already begun.
Subject to planning approval being forthcoming, more lodges are on the drawing board in phase three.
Eventually, this could result in more than 200 people staying at the complex - visiting Brigg to use shops, businesses and local facilities.

The holiday homes - pictured here - are off Mill Lane (just beyond the railway bridge).
They adjoin an extensive marina where boat-owners can moor their pleasure craft.
The marina is directly connected to the Old River Ancholme - opposite Cadney Road.
There are "pump out" and fuelling facilities,  a shower block and all pontoons have water and electricity supplies.
Planning permission has been granted by North Lincolnshire Council for a large clubhouse to be built between the marina and the holiday homes. It will have a bar and restaurant.
The complex is being landscaped and is fully secured with gated access and entry.

The site is being managed for Brigg Marina Ltd by Hospitality Management Services (HMS), whose managing director, Sallie Charlton, pictured above, invited Brigg Blog down for a guided tour.
There are five styles of luxury lodges - from three bed/one bath up to five bed/three baths.
Open air hot tubs are a notable feature that caught our eye.
About a dozen new jobs are to be created at the complex, mainly relating to the clubhouse.
In addition, the cleaning company "housekeeping" the holiday homes will be recruiting staff locally.
Dean Wray's company, of Bridge Street, Brigg, will be providing the carpets.
The aim is to have phase one completed in September this year.
Sallie told Brigg Blog: "Things are really moving along to benefit the community and create jobs, while the people holidaying here will be spending their money within the local community, in which we will be getting involved."
Future lodge bookings can be made through Hoseasons - a famous name in UK leisure.
HMS has an on-site office and people wanting to know more about coming to stay in Brigg - boaters and holiday-makers - can email salliecharlton@briggmarina.co.uk
