WE ARE REALLY WARMING TO THIS BRIGG HOSTELRY

Friends of ours from the Scunthorpe Telegraph have chosen to come over to Brigg on Friday, December 16 for a Christmas night out.
This will feature a meal from the festive menu at Dexters, on Wrawby Street.
We recently paid the Ale House & Kitchen a mid-evening visit after attending a Town Council meeting in the Angel Suite.
A very welcoming and particularly warm real fire was operating and it felt a bit like Christmas, although we had yet to reach Halloween.
"Cosy" best describes the conditions as we sampled a couple of pints of very well-kept Timothy Taylor real ale.
Sadly, we couldn't linger longer as the notes made at a Brigg Town Council meeting do not post themselves on Brigg Blog and we had to get home to get cracking.
We are looking forward to our pre-Christmas meal at Dexters, where we have eaten several times. Later on December 16, we might well guide a few members of the gathering to sample other Brigg watering holes within easy walking distance.
Dexters opened earlier this year in the former Black Bull Inn.
