TIME TO PLACE YOU MESSAGES ON THE BRIGG TREE OF LIGHT

People can now put messages on the Brigg Tree of Light - in memory of loved ones now departed.
The tree is located in Chapel Court, close to the town's main car park.
You can buy  memory cards to hang on the tree from many businesses in the town centre.
The minimum donation suggested is £5 per card and all money will be divided between the Brigg Carers' Support Centre and the Congenital Myotonic Dystrophy Fight Fund.
When someone you love becomes a memory
That memory becomes a treasure
The Vicar of Brigg, Father Owain Mitchell, and the Curate, the Rev Trudy Hobson, conducted a dedication ceremony.
It was attended by representatives of local businesses, community groups, and councillors, including Town Mayor Coun Ann Eardley, and by officials of the Brigg Town Business Partnership, which is busy promoting the Tree of Light.
If you are visiting Brigg town centre today (Saturday, November 26) to do some shopping or to visit the general or farmers's markets, make a note to buy a memory card.
