BRIGG FOOTBALLERS SHARE THE SPOILS


A Brigg football team is in third place in the table following the round of matches played yesterday (Saturday, November 26).
Briggensians FC drew 3-3 with Crosby Colts Reserves at Sir John Nelthorpe School.
Paul Neal scored twice for the Brigg team, with the other goal coming from Jon Taylor.
This game was in division three of the T.S.W. Printers Scunthorpe & District Football League.
On  Saturday, December 3, Briggensians will be at home again, this time hosting Epworth Town Colts Blues (2pm KO).
Yesterday's big match in division three saw leaders Barnetby United Reserves lose 10-1 to second-placed Shape Changers.
The Shapers have only played four league games but have won them all, to gain 12 points.
Barnetby have 18 points from eight games, while Briggensians have accumulated 11 points from five league fixtures.
Yesterday, Barnetby United first teamers won 8-2 over AFC Blades in round three of the E C Surfacing Ltd Sporting Shield.

Cameron Hill's hat-trick, a brace from Josh Isaac and further goals by Will Watson, Will Forest and  Joe Scott did the damage for the villagers.
On Saturday, December 3, Barnetby's top team will be at home to Crowle Town Colts in division one (2pm).
In the second round of the Johnsons Transport Ironstone Cup, Barnetby United Reserves visit A.F.C. Blades (1.30pm).
