The extensive Christmas illuminations - provided by Brigg Town Council - will be switched on at 5pm from a stage set up specially in the Market Place.
Then hundreds of people will tour the town centre, browsing the many stalls on Brigg District Lions' Christmas Market, visiting the wide range of shops and popping into the eateries of their choice.
There will be late night shopping available until 9pm in many retail outlets.
Live music will be on offer on Friday night at the White Hart pub, on Bridge Street, and at the Britannia Inn, on Wrawby Street. So why not pop in?
