We have to congratulate a young cyclist, perhaps aged 9 or 10, for good riding along the A18 in Brigg the other day.
He executed a perfect right turn at the traffic lights while travelling from Ash Grove onto Barnard Avenue.
We were waiting to come out of Cary Lane and turn right. His clear hand signal left no doubt in the minds of nearby motorists about where he was heading.
Sadly, many drivers taking the same route out of Ash Grove give no indication whether they intend to go straight on, turn left or right.
It's the same at the Monument, if you have come down as far as the Britannia. Many vehicles coming out of Bigby Street and intending to head off towards Tesco fail to activate their indicators.
