BRIGG TINTABS WELCOMES YOUNG VISITORS

We were pleased to see four teenagers sitting in the Tintab shelter in Brigg the other day.
Sadly, a good many of the regulars who one used the decades-old meeting place have either passed away or suffered ill-health which means they can no longer pay it a visit.
Hopefully the youngsters we saw enjoyed their stay and will call again.
If word gets round through Twitter, Facebook and other networks, perhaps more U18s will start using the Tintab.
For the benefit of our followers from afar, the Tin Tabernacle is a four-sided wooden shelter, situated near the Monument war memorial, beside the A18, and part of Brigg's East Park.
There are biblical references to  tabernacles, or meeting places. But ours isn't that old!
Above is a "file" picture of the Tintabs, taken some time ago. The youngsters we observed recently were using the bench-seating nearest the camera.
