Lindsay Shelbourn, Health and Improvement and Wellbeing Officer, North Lincolnshire Council, said: “Dementia is a debilitating condition that will affect many people. While there is currently no cure, there is lots of help and support out there and we want to show people throughout next week how people can access local support, and live well with dementia.
“We’ve organised lots of events throughout the week and everyone is welcome. The events are free and aim to be fun and informative. They provide a great support mechanism – not just through the organisations involved but for individuals too, whether they have dementia or care for someone with dementia.”
