BETTER BRIGG TRAFFIC FLOWS ON WAY

We think the closure of Brigg pelican crossings, which is under way at present, may be linked to the new traffic light control system which North Lincolnshire Council is installing to improve the flow of vehicles along the A18 Barnard Avenue.

Yesterday (Sunday) the pelican near the China Garden was switched off and the one near the Methodist Church cordoned off, as our picture shows.

They appear to have finished with the pelican near the vets – at the top of Old Courts Road – which is now back in use.
