MAJOR WATER MAIN WORK IN PROGRESS ON BRIGG COUNTRY BRIDGE

Brigg Blog took these pictures over the weekend to show work in progress on the grade two listed County Bridge over the Old River Ancholme.
Anglian Water is installing a new water main on one side of the historic structure to replace the old cast iron one that's suffered a number of leaks in recent years.
As you can see, the specialist contractor has brought in some heavy plant to help with the lifting.
