BRIGG AND GOOLE TO STAY FOR AT LEAST THREE YEARS

There have been quite a few names down the decades - Brigg, Brigg and Scunthorpe, even Brigg and Cleethorpes. 
During the recent switch-on of the Christmas lights in Brigg town centre we were hoping to get a picture of Andrew on the balcony of the Angel building. The idea was to replicate a pic of Sir Berkeley Sheffield when he stood for election as our MP about a century ago. Sir Berkeley belonged to the family of  Prime Minister David Cameron's wife, Samantha. 
Unfortunately, Andrew's train up from London suffered delays and the lost time put paid to our hopes of posing the picture. 
We'll make a mental note to try again later this year.
