NEW JOBS HOPE FOR WELL-KNOWN BRIGG FACTORY PREMISES IF SOMEONE TAKES ON SITE

The Falcon Cycle site and that of the old Corah stocking factory have been on the property market for some weeks now, and the agents' "Sale or To Let" sign was still there earlier this week when we took these pictures.
It's a prime five-acre Bridge Street location - just off the A18 - and PPH Commercial are the people to contact. The category Industrial/Redevelopment is being applied.
Wishful thing, perhaps, but it would be wonderful if, having been taken on by someone else, the site could provide anything like the jobs once provided in this part of town.
