BRIGG MAN BRINGS VAST EXPERIENCE TO NEW ROLE

Paul Armstrong, newly-appointed General Manager, Sales, at Northern Fire and Safety

Scunthorpe-based Northern Fire and Safety has appointed a Brigg man as business development manager to help maximise its growth potential.
Paul Armstrong will bring to the business his 25 years’ experience in the fire and safety industry, where he has been used to dealing with every kind of company, from small businesses to multinationals.
Company MD Barrie Holden said the appointment was a significant milestone for Northern Fire and Safety, part of the Fire Protection Centre Ltd group. 
He said: “We want to broaden our client base. Paul’s experience in dealing with all types of companies, from small businesses to multinationals, will help us to realise that ambition. 
“We aim to be the premier fire and safety company in the region. I have no doubt Paul will be able to help us work towards that goal. Certainly his experience will be a valuable addition to our friendly, customer-focused team.” 
Paul, from Brigg, said: “I am excited to be working with a progressive and forward-thinking company with its eyes fixed firmly on growth. Northern Fire and Safety is continuing to make major strides in its specialist area, and I am looking forward to being part of that development.”
He is in no doubt there is significant potential for the BAFE-accredited company to grow its client base.  “Development of business, along with the potential offered by the area becoming the UK’s green energy hub, will be our foundation for accelerated growth,” he added.
