Electoral forms are being delivered to households throughout Brigg this week - so don't treat this as junk mail, unless, of course, you have no interest in voting.

2014 voter registrations forms – what you need to do
It couldn’t
be easier to register to vote once you have received your annual voter
registration form for the 2014 Register of Electors – you can do it online, by
text message or telephone.
Residents in
North Lincolnshire will be receiving their annual voter registration form over
the next few weeks.
If there are
no changes to your details then you can register online by visiting www.elecreg.co.uk/northlincs, by calling 0808 284 1479 (24
hours) or send a text message to 07786 209 379. You will need the security
information on the form to do this.
If there are
changes that need to be made you will need to send in the annual voter
registration form with the changes to the council’s Electoral Services team,
before you can register.
You can only
vote if your name is on the Register of Electors. The council prepares the
register every October. It sends out forms to every household in North
Lincolnshire to give all eligible voters the chance to be on the register.
A spokesperson, added: “If you would
like to vote in the local, national or European elections you need to make sure
that you have registered. It’s very easy to put your name on the Register of
Electors once you have received your annual voter registration
form.”
To find out if you're already
registered, call the council’s Electoral Services on 01724 296245.
