An assurance has been given about the mature hedgerow beside the towpath of the Old River Ancholme in Brigg
Coun Ann Eardley was a shade concerned about its future and raised the matter at last night's meeting of Brigg Town Council in the Angel Suite.
However, Coun Rob Waltham - a member of the controlling Cabinet at North Lincolnshire Council - said that although the hedgerow was very overgrown in places and needed cutting back, it was not going to be damaged.
