EXTRA TIME WIN FOR BRIGG FOOTBALL TEAM

Brigg football team Briggensians enjoyed a heartening win yesterday (Saturday, Oct 19).
They triumphed 2-1 - after extra time - at Barnetby United Reserves in the Johnstone Insurance Nursing Cup second round.
Briggensians - based at Sir John Nelthorpe School - and Barnetby are currently at the foot of the division three table in the TSW Printers Scunthorpe and District League.
This coming Saturday (Oct 26) Briggensians have a very attractive home tie.
They host Limestone Rangers in the second round of the EC Surfacing Ltd Sporting Shield.
Rangers occupy second in division one, so a very tough task faces the Brigg side.
