DECISION ON BRIGG TAKEAWAY DUE SOON

I'm supporting Diya......Commonsense has to prevail.
The take-away replaced their original flue, which, coincidentally, looked very similar to the new one, after concerns that it was 'humming'.
Having installed the new flue, Diya were informed that it was out of keeping with the Conservation Area image of Brigg.
The only real difference between the old and the new flue, in my opinion, was the new flue was obviously an un-weathered, shiny galvanized structure.
Now the Diya crew have painted it a drab brown, there ain't argument that warrants its removal.
DIYA FLUE - LET COMMONSENSE PREVAIL
.....Hopefully, NLC councillors have loads of commonsense....and that there won't be a need to curry flavour to tikka the boxes!!
