BRIGG WILL BE PRAYING FOR THE SUCCESS OF OUR NEW FOOD BANK
FROM FATHER OWAIN MITCHELL, VICAR OF BRIGG
The Parish Church of St John the Evangelist - BRIGG HARVEST FESTIVAL, Sunday 13th October 9.30am
This year we wish to warmly invite each member of our community to join us for our annual Harvest Thanksgiving.
Whether you have not been to Church for a while, or you have never been to Church and are wondering what it’s all about, you will be made welcome. Perhaps you’ve wanted to return or join us for the first time, but do not want to stand out as a new face. Why not come along when other new faces may be present?
The service will last approximately one hour, and be followed by a break for coffee before lunch, which will be provided. The theme of the service will be I am the bread of life (John: 25-32) and we shall be praying for the newly-opened food bank in Brigg, and all who lack the basic provisions of life, both here and around the world.
Activities for children will be in the hall (from 9.30-10.00) and then they will join us in the service and share what they have done with the congregation.
For further information and details please contact the Parish Office on 01652 653989. Do join us and bring a friend along!
