BRIGG TOWN CRICKETERS TOP OF THE LEAGUE

It was far from an "average" season for Brigg Town Cricket Club which had the best batsman and the best bowler during the 2013 season in the East Yorkshire Alliance.
The campaign has now ended with the league's Play Cricket website that handles all the statistics from all games in three divisions showing Brigg strokemaker Matthew Bell with the top batting average across the entire league - a staggering 170.75, having scored 683 runs.
Team-mate Dave Jollands boasted the best bowling average in the Alliance, a miserly 3.5 runs conceded per wicket taken.
